3 Steps to Plan the Perfect Mobile App
We take an iterative approach to creating mobile applications, starting with our App Blueprint Process for envisioning and initial design activities.
During envisioning, our first step is to better understand your objectives and explore the functionality that you want to provide to your mobile users.
The purpose of the Blueprint Process is to visualize an App that meets your goals, fits well into the current mobile landscape, and has a well-planned roadmap and execution strategy.
The Blueprint Process results in several key deliverables:
1. UX wireframe document that describes the function, navigation and flow of the application. The wireframes will act as a visual guide for application development and will outline key functional requirements related to every major screen of the application.
2. Visual style document outlining the look-and-feel of key areas of the App for mobile users on a chosen platform such as iPhone (iOS 7) or Android.
3. Project roadmap and technical recommendations for the phased delivery of the App’s features and functionality.
With the permission of a recent client, The Chronicle Herald, we have prepared the following samples from a recent redesign project (codenamed “Peggy”):
These are samples to illustrate the quality of our work. We will tailor our deliverables to match the key priorities identified in the visualization workshop.
